A Psychological Approach to ADHD
Hello, and welcome to ADHD Pathways. Our work is centred around supporting adults with ADHD and those who are exploring whether ADHD may help to explain some of the challenges they experience.
I take a compassionate, psychologically-informed approach, recognising that ADHD can affect much more than attention and organisation. It can influence emotional wellbeing, self-esteem, relationships, work and everyday life.
We being by exploring how ADHD is showing up in your life, what you're finding most challenging and what you would like to be different. Together, we can identify your goals and consider what type of support would be most helpful - whether that is ADHD-focused therapy, practical coaching, or a combination of approaches.

About Dr Laura Hammond
My name is Dr Laura Hammond and I am a Clinical Psychologist and ADHD coach with many years of experience supporting people experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties.
Through my clinical work and personal experience, I have seen how adults with ADHD can grow up feeling misunderstood, different or as though they are somehow not quite getting life "right". Without the right understanding and support, these experiences can contribute to difficulties with self-esteem, emotional wellbeing and relationships.
Understanding ADHD can be an important first step, but sometimes more support is needed to move beyond simply getting by. My aim is to help you develop greater self-understanding, let go of unhelpful patterns and beliefs, and build a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
